Monadnock Paper Mills is expanding its distribution partnership with Case Paper, one of the largest privately held distributors and converters of paper and board for the printing and packaging industries. Case serves the California market with in-stock, ready-to-ship offerings of two of the company’s most popular sustainable product lines. Specifically, Case Paper will be stocking Monadnock’s Coated and Uncoated, 100% Post-Consumer Recycled, Paper and Packaging Board in its Los Angeles location. The Astrolite PC 100, Uncoated Smooth and Coated Velvet line of fine printing papers feature the best quality print surfaces while also offering a high level of sustainability for environmentally conscious brands worldwide. Envi PC 100 Performance Board, engineered to ensure high print fidelity, exceptional folding characteristics with full ink coverage, and embossing and foil-stamping, is available in 16 and 18 pt. calipers. This Envi Packaging Board Product Line is available at Case in both uncoated and coated finishes that can be ordered as custom-sized sheets on demand, in an effort to provide enhanced speed to market solutions. Case LA is also supporting the HP Indigo market segment by offering all the above coated and uncoated, paper and packaging products in 3 Star Certified, HP Indigo media offerings – all from the company’s floor in Southern California. In addition to Los Angeles, Case Paper’s headquarters is in Harrison, NY, and has other facilities in Chicago, IL; High Point, NC; Osgood, IN; Miami, FL; and Philadelphia, PA. “Deepening our partnership with Monadnock will allow us to provide better support to our California customers in branding, design, and retail who are looking for sustainable and practical material solutions,” says Simon Schaffer-Goldman, president, Case Paper. “Having these materials in-stock in rolls that we can sheet to custom sizes underscores our commitment to sustainability.” All of Case Paper’s converting and warehouse facilities are FSC, SFI, and PEFC certified. Monadnock’s printing and packaging papers are FSC certified, manufactured carbon neutral (VERs) and made with 100% renewable Green-e certified wind powered electricity (RECs) under a third-party certified ISO 14001 Environmental Management System. “This partnership is a perfect union of two companies with a shared commitment to customers and delivering impactful, sustainable solutions,” adds Julie Brannen, director, sustainability solutions, Monadnock.”
